CFF - TUDEV - A training centre established by the shipping industry employers federation and supported by the chamber of shipping and related governmental authorities.
The Seafarers national examination center is run by the head, who is appointed by the Turkish Undersecretariat for Maritime Affairs for a three-year term, among the members of a board composed of the representatives of the Maritime Education Centers in Turkey and of the representatives of Turkish Under-Secretariat for Maritime Affairs. The chairman executes the examination by using the the personnel and facilities of the institution he represents and the same time by using the commisioned personnel of Maritime Education Centers in Turkey. Since the representative of TUDEV is the head of the organization, TUDEV has become the sefarers' National Examination center. However, the organization works independently and the certification is done by the Turkish Under-Secretariat for Maritime Affairs.
Overall management and co-ordination of the project with overall responsibility for dissemination and implementation of the interim and final results.
After discussions with Edexcel and IMarEST and support from two leading nautical universities, the HND in Navigation Engineering (similar to UK’s BTEC HND in Nautical Science) was incorporated within the local IMO based programme in September 2003, for the first time in Turkey. The HND, as part of this proposal, is to be incorporated within the NVQ levels 3 and 4 Marine Vessel Operations which satisfies the IMO and MCA requirements for Officer Of Watch and Chief Mate status
In 2004 a second HND programme was introduced and incorporated within the existing local IMO based programme for local Engineer Officers of Watch status.

CFF - A research and training company with many years of experience in European funded projects. The partner was the instigator of the Factory of the Future Project in EU and was one of the nine organisations designated as a EUROTECNET Centre (UK2, UK8 and UK 37) soon after the UK joined the EU in 1983. Involved in COMETT, FORCE, ADAPT, PETRA, SOCRATES, EUREKA (QMIS/FAMOS) and many national programmes such as MIDAS and DTI PERA programmes. The Centre has been awarded several CEDEFOP grants and been actively involved with EU national and major EU funded conferences.
Responsible for co-ordination of the technical and developmental activities within the partnership and will assist with the dissemination and implementation of interim and final results.

GCNS - A College of Further and Higher Education with many years of experience in the training of Deck and Engineer Officers and experience in developing bridges between these qualifications and higher qualifications in the related fields including degree qualifications.
The centre will support the partners in the harmonisation activities and assist other partners particularly Turkey in developing world-class training programmes and will give Turkish cadets the opportunity to obtain relevant vocational qualifications and opportunity to seek higher qualifications and will assess the staff.

STC - A College of Further and Higher Education with many years of experience in the training of Deck and Engineer Officers and experience in developing bridges between these qualifications and higher qualifications in the related fields including degree qualifications.
The Centre will support the partners in the harmonisation activities and assist other partners particularly Turkey in developing world-class training programmes and will give Turkish cadets the opportunity to obtain relevant vocational qualifications and opportunity to seek higher qualifications and will train the staff.

TUC - A University College and one of the major centres in Norway for training of Deck and Engineer Officers and experience in developing integrated degree and training programmes where the graduates can obtain a degree as well as satisfying the requirements of Deck and Engineer Officers, and higher ranks.
The Centre will support the partners in the harmonisation activities and assist other partners particularly Turkey in developing world-class training programmes and has offered places on its programmes to partner cadets the opportunity to go to study in Norway and enrol on its Deck and Engineer Officers degree programmes.
